Welcome
As we start a new school year please take some time to go over this handbook that outlines the expectations for the coming year. After reviewing this document please sign the bottom part and return it to school. The entire staff is committed to your success here at MIT; working together we can make these years productive and enjoyable as you move from elementary to high school.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to create a school climate that embraces equity, cultural and racial consciousness and an unconditional belief that ALL MIT students will be successful.
We will cultivate an environment where technology is a part of the academic culture empowering students to meet or exceed state academic standards in all content areas using traditional and innovative technologies. We will expand the school community beyond the physical campus benefiting from local and global resources. We will develop independent life-long critical thinkers and learners by setting high expectations and fostering an awareness of cultural diversity and gender equality.
Bienvenidos
