8th Grade ELA - Coon, Enrique

About Me:

I am a Southern Californian who has lived in the Bay Area for 10+ years now. Since earning my credential at Cal State East Bay, I have been teaching middle school and high school for the last 6 years. This is my second year at MIT - and my 6th in Redwood City. I love being a part of this community, and I want my students to feel every day how much I enjoy being with them and learning with them.

My own two kids, my partner, and I love to get out and about, play games, read books, watch TV and movies, and eat tasty food. We have two friendly cats, named Bean and Earl of Sandwich. Perhaps you’ll find them roaming the streets of Redwood City!
