Bea Williams | Principal

Nelson Brasil | Coordinator of Student Services
Dear Bulldog Community,
My name is Nelson Brasil, and I am joining Mckinley Institute of Technology this year as the Student Services Coordinator. I bring with me over 20 years of experience in education and community building, I have a proven track record of fostering inclusive and supportive school environments.
As the Student Services Coordinator, I am dedicated to promoting a positive school culture that celebrates diversity and encourages student voice and advocacy. I will work closely with students, teachers, and families to develop initiatives that support social-emotional learning and create a sense of belonging for all members of our Bulldog Community. I am excited to connect and build strong relationships with both students and families within our Bulldog community, and hope to extend that to the broader Redwood City community as well.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, playing music, sports, traveling, and volunteering with local youth organizations.

Jackie Campos | Community School Coordinator
As the Community School Coordinator at MIT, I care deeply about creating opportunities that help our students and families thrive, both within our school and beyond. I am driven by a strong belief in equity, belonging, and the power of community voice. Every student and family deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, and I work every day to uplift the strengths of our community.
My professional journey has always centered on service, with experience in education, local government, and community based work. I believe relationships are at the center of meaningful change, and I am honored to work alongside our students, families, and staff here at MIT.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, relaxing at the beach, or exploring new places with my family. I am also a foodie who loves trying new restaurants and sharing good meals with the people I care about.
