Our Family Center

Our Family Center is an integral part of the Community School model, serving students and families with a holistic, whole-child approach throughout our school. Opportunities and services offered “close to home” and provided by familiar faces help to close gaps that can act as barriers to learning while proactively involving families in school life on a daily basis.

Health and wellness resources, academic support, and dozens of innovative partnerships weave together to form the fabric of a strong connection between home, school, and the greater community. Parent education, housing assistance and food distribution from community organizations, crisis intervention, and emotional counseling also play key roles in the robust Family Center.

Our Family Center is open and available to all McKinley Institute of Technology students and their families. It is our goal that every student has convenient access to any support services they may need.
